Hey everyone! It's me again, your favorite 10-year-old food explorer, Astrid the Mini Foodie! Today, I’m gonna spill the beans on this super fancy place in Geyserville, called Cyrus.

Okay, so, you won’t believe this! Before you even get to eat, you can walk around and pretend to be in a movie because they have the whole restaurant is surrounded by a vineyard! 🍇 Super cool, right? And then, guess where we ate? The bubble lounge! My parents said it’s usually for grown-ups who like champagne (yuck! 🙊), but for little foodies like me? It’s all about what they call “snacks” and what I call “the best food EVER!” 😋

Here’s the yummiest stuff I got to try:

Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken: OMG! This chicken is like if sweet and spicy had a baby. Not too much of either, just perfecto! Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (10/10). You HAVE to try this!

Lobster with Avocado & Thai Dressing: This lobster was so fancy, it was wearing a yummy Thai dressing hat! And guess what? It was perfect. I lived in Asia for a long time and I have had a lot of Thai food but never like this. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐ (9.525/10). Soooo good!

Baby Back Riblets with Masago Furikake: These were called Riblets but they were huge. My dad had to cut into them with a big knife, but they were so delicious. I ate most of it with a fork and knife, but even though the restaurant was really fancy, I wanted all of it, so I picked the bones up with my fingers to make sure i got it all. Never waste a bite of this yumminess. Soooo good! Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (10/10). Yes, please!

Potatoes Pavé:

Guys, if there was a potato royalty, this would be it! The Potatoes Pavé at Cyrus was like biting into a cloud with a crown – sooo fluffy inside with a golden, crunchy outer layer. Seriously, it's the dreamiest mix of crunchy and soft a potato could ever hope for. A real treat for potato lovers like me! Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐ (9/10). You HAVE to give this a try! 🥔👑

Gazpacho Soup: It was like magic water! The soup looked clear but it had so much flavour. It tasted like a bunch of yummy things. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (8.525/10). Neat-o!

Yuna Ravioli:

Okay, so these were... interesting. They tasted good, but they were super light on the flavor. Plus, they were kinda slippery, like trying to catch a fish with your fork! I mean, for most places they'd be awesome, but at Cyrus, with all its yummy dishes? Rating: 🌟🌟🌟⭐ (7/10). They're okay, but maybe not for little foodies like me!

Olive Oil Gelato with Basil & Sea Salt: Okay, okay, hear me out. Ice cream with olive oil? Sounds crazy, but it’s AMAZING! It’s like salty and sweet got together for a party. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (10/10). Wish I could have this every day!

Gianduja (Chocolate) Tart:

Okay, hold on to your forks for this one! The Gianduja Tart was like diving into chocolatey heaven. It reminded me of Nutella because of the nutty taste, but oh boy, the chocolate flavor was on a whole other level. Super soft, super rich, and just melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. I'm not even kidding; I think it's the BEST cake I've ever had in my life. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (10/10). If you're a choco-holic like me, this is your dream come true! 🍫🍰💖

The Chocolate Room: Now, before I wrap up, I have to tell you about the coolest part of our day at Cyrus. When we were leaving, we got a surprise visit to the Chocolate Room! 🍫✨ Imagine this: a waterfall, but instead of water, it's CHOCOLATE pouring down from the ceiling! It was like being in a movie, but real life! It was kinda loud because of all the chocolate rushing down, but sooo cool. And guess what? They projected "Happy Birthday" on the chocolate waterfall for my brother! 🎉🎂 No touching the waterfall (even though I realllly wanted to), but they did hand out these super yummy little chocolates. And the cherry on top? They gave us a box of truffles to take home. Double YUM!

Honestly, I can't wait to go back to Cyrus. Not just for the food, but for the whole magical experience! Lucky for me the restaurant belongs to my grandpa so I will hopefully get to go next time I visit him.🌟🍽️🍫

But what I would say, and not just because my Grandpa Nick runs the restaurant, but if you can ever go, you should totally check out Cyrus. It's very grown-up fancy, but they really took good care of us so I give all the kid-approved yumminess!

If you want to check it out, here is the website: https://www.cyrusrestaurant.com/

My only recommendation is that you should also bring a book because parents tend to stay at this restaurant for a long time. Until next time, stay hungry my friends! 🍕🍰

Bye for now! ✌️
