Hello fellow food enthusiasts! Today, I'm super excited to share my experience at the seafood restaurant Chinook in Seattle. This place isn't just about great food; it's also about an amazing location right by the water, surrounded by boats. Imagine eating delicious seafood while watching the water and the boats - it's like a scene from a movie!
What We Ate and how it rated: A Seafood Feast!
🦐 🍝 Shrimp Fettuccini: This was my choice, and it was yummy. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, there were lots of delicious vegetables, and the sauce was creamy and delicious. It was huge though, and so the sauce got a little bit too rich after a while, but still, i would highly recommend it.
🍣 🌮 Salmon Taco: My dad chose this. He loved it so much that he barely shared! The spice on the salmon was perfect - flavorful but not too hot. I think they had a bit too much coleslaw and I always want more salmon, but still it was delicious delicious. Just full of yummy flavor.
🦐🍸🍹 Shrimp Cocktail: My mom went for this, and it looked so good! I didn't get to taste it, but she seemed to enjoy it. And it had little bay shrimp which I always love so I am sure it was great. And I know my mom liked the cocktail sauce a lot.
🦪 Oysters: We also tried some oysters, and they were a big hit! Especially when paired with the mignonette - just wow! Oysters are always my favorite but these were especially delicious. I would really recommend ordering oysters if you go to Chinooks.

I had a lemonade (so refreshing!) which was so nice. And they made it for me with mint. 🌿💚
A Little Wait, But Worth It!
One downside was the slow service. But hey, good things take time, right?
Would I Recommend Chinook?
Absolutely! Whether you're a seafood lover or just enjoy a meal with a view, Chinook won't disappoint. You might have to be a bit patient with the service, but it's only because they are busy and at least they are nice. Overall though, Chinook is a great spot for both kids and adults.
The only small issue was the limited kids' menu. I was happy to order from the adult menu, but this might be something for families to consider.
